Athena is an online learning platform which offers a variety of courses / certificates / professional studies. Our team is named after Discovery+.
In this project, we choose to focus on Professional Certificate. During the study process, there are 4 different stages and we choose to focus on Discovery phase, which starts from browsing experience to deciding to enroll the course.
Our goal is to increase user conversion rate through 3 stages:
Providing career guidance support
Transparent information about certificates
Comparison tool to analyze pros and cons of each individual certificate

If one visit the website with no idea what he can do based on his background, he can type in his need in natural language, which brings him to the home page and the side bar chat box.
In the chat box, one can further input all his needs and background so Personal Coach could help in regards to specific request. In the end, Personal Coach would suggest a few relevant and useful certificate options.
After making a choice on one of the option, one will be directed to the landing page of all certificates offered in that career.

In the landing page, Personal Coach offers two quick access tools:
SUMMARIZE
COMPARE
SUMMARIZE tool can automatically generate a quick summary about the certificate for one to have a glimpse at all courses.

Whenever is needed, the top search box can be used to access Personal Coach to further assist users.
With all history stored on cloud, one can look back at all actions in the history log.

COMPARE tool allows one to efficiently compare courses with interest in smartly-generated categories with visual aids.
After settling on one certificate course, one will be directed to the detail page where, through visual graphic design, all details about the certificate will be showed.
Another feature that we include is the quick access to Alumni network. With granted access, graduated alumni can voluntarily share their LinkedIn profile so as to help incoming students with more real-life testimonials.

ChatGPT makes all of these happen and with its API available, this project is more than feasible for Athena to implement.
For future plans, in terms of scalability, Personal Coach can be implemented in all stages for Athena and beyond professional certificate category.
One quick demo would be in-course assistance, where Personal Coach sees a potential lowpoint in the study curve and suggests relevant courses to cover that specific topic.

Through building trust, Personal Coach walks through the whole discovery stage, guides users to potential career goal, shows results with clear information, compares different certificates to find the right one, and makes the whole process efficient and effect in the same time.
